FATJACKET

Fatjacket play an infectious blend of Fifties and Sixties rhythm ‘n’ blues and swing guaranteed to get people dancing.  The band is fronted by baritone saxophonist Nick Lunt of the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and Ocean‘s Seven.  Nick has also played with the Big Town Playboys, James Hunter & The Jokers as well as Sugar Ray’s Flying Fortress.  He has appeared on albums with most of the above artists as well as Tom Jones, Jeff Beck, Van Morrison and of course many artists on ‘Jools & Friends’ albums.

After a ten year career in some of the finest R’n’B bands in the UK, Nick has brought together some of Britain’s most accomplished and finest rhythm ‘n’ blues musicians to form Fatjacket who play a mixture of swing and rhythm and blues to suit dancers and people who simply enjoy listening to good music.  The band is comprised of Nick on baritone saxophone and vocals, accompanied by tenor saxophone, trombone, string bass, piano/keyboard and drums.
